LFS Landsforeningen for Slagrammede i Norge (The National Stroke Association of Norway) LFS er en landsomfattende forening bestående av slagrammede selv, deres pårørende og andre interesserte (leger og helsepersonell). LFS ble startet juni 1988 og er tilsluttet Norges Handikapforbund (NHF). Som medlem i LFS er man også fullverdig medlem i NHF med de fordeler dette innebærer

The Stroke Alliance for Europe (SAFE) The journey to SAFE In June 2003, a strategic workshop in the European Parliament stressed the urgency of tackling the prevention of stroke at the European and national level to avoid unnecessary deaths and disability. Hosted by two prominent European Parliament members, the workshop, involving a panel of internationally recognized researchers, medical experts, European health-policymakers, and patient groups, asserted that European governments must act immediately to prevent stroke, especially in patients with hypertension. Riksföreningen HJÄRNKRAFT  Vårt mål är att varje person med förvärvade hjärnskador skall ha rätt till optimal rehabilitering, så att han/hon kan leva ett så innehållsrikt, självständigt och aktivt liv som möjligt.

 

HjerneSagen  Formål: At styrke forebyggelse, akutbehandling og genoptræning samt støtte bestræbelser, der har til formål at bekæmpe apopleksi, mindske følgerne af afasi eller dermed beslægtede handicaps og derigennem forbedre livsvilkårene

 

Stroke- och afasiförbundet rf / Aivohalvaus- ja afasialiitto ry STROKE- OCH AFASIVERKSAMHET De strokedrabbade, deras familjer, vänner och andra intresserade har grundat föreningar och klubbar på många håll i Finland. I dag verkar föreningar i över 100 kommuner. AIVOHALVAUS- JA AFASIATOIMINTA Aivohalvauksen kokeneet, heidän perheensä, ystävänsä ja muut kiinnostuneet ovat perustaneet yhdistyksiä ja kerhoja eri puolille Suomea. Yhdistyksiä toimii jo yli 100 paikkakunnalla.
